Her story

Sophia was inspired by her mom’s innate ability to work with plants and her life surrounded by flowers to bring Lauren’s Garden to her city, as Sophia’s Garden. Having lived in New York City her whole adult life, she found herself going home to Connecticut as her nature escape, it was when she realized she could find pockets of abundant nature in the ‘Urban Jungle’ and create intentional natural spaces there that this business took off.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. Sophia grew up as a creative, pursuing every activity to create with her hands outside of her desk job in finance. Sophia’s Garden is beautifully natural coming together of her abilities: floral design, film & digital photography, architectural style and homemaking, and bringing people together for the purpose of expressing themselves and enjoying the beautiful things life has to offer.
